You are brave & determined and you WILL get there. Try not to worry about how long it takes. Every little loss counts in terms of your health and your sense of achievement. And I bet you are teaching that beautiful baby of yours to eat healthily. Like Dave says, just go ahead and keep in touch whether or not you're reading other people's stuff. Encouragment is like a kind of Mexican Wave, I reckon, sometimes you are giving and sometimes you are receiving and it all balances out in the bigger picture. Just take it easy, don't be too hard on yourself, and keep plugging away, and the changes will come.

Let us put you back together. Then when we need you, you'll be motivated again. You succeeding and sharing your WLJ will inspire us and help us remember there are others with our same struggles.

Replace one of your meals with a large bowl of oatmeal. Not the instant kind. 2-3 minute oats, take about 3/4 cup of flakes, place in bowl, add water so it a little above the oats, nuke for 2 minutes (depending on power of your microwave). Add skim milk, throw in a handful of blueberries (or sliced bananas and almonds). Stir, eat. DO NOT ADD SUGAR! sprinkle cinnamon if you like.

And drink Evian water. Tastes great and makes you want to drink water. A bit expensive though. But hey if it tastes good...you're drinking more water :)

Hey! I too decided to lose weight for not only myself but my daughter. It's paid off. My 10-year old eats, but eats well. She eats a lot of fresh food, does not want fast food and reads books such as Morgan Spurlock. Today she sat down and watched the Jamie Oliver talk at TED this year. (If you haven't seen it, google it. It's excellent.) It'll be a reminder that you're working on your health for all the right reasons. Don't focus on the number. Focus on your daughter and raising her right and as a result, reeducating yourself about food. It's hard. I won't kid you. I still track my food, 3 years later. But it helps. And the payoff will be far down the road, when you feel good and your daughter grows up not having to completely change her way of life. And that's because you raised her to be that way. HANG IN THERE!

I am so happy to see that you came here and posted this!! It is okay you may not make the whole goal by then. You have the goal of 160 as long as you are working towards it then you are making progress!
Just keep plugging away one day at a time and you will get there. There is not a deadline so go as you can, do what you need to to get your mindset back in order. Your body will not blow up if you do not weigh 10 in April!
Ask for help when you need it!! I am always here to cheer you on and I know I am not the only one :)
Hope to see more posts and watch you succeed today, tomorrow and next year.

You are not a failure! Look what you have accomplished. I wish I could have lost 50 pounds, but what I did was lose 45 and gain it all back and then some. You are an inspiration and you should be so proud of yourself.

I'm sure you've heard it before, but you didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight either. The longer it takes to lose it, the longer you will have it off. Don't do what I did, cut my calories so much that I lost it all within 4 months and then went off the diet and gained it all back.

I am back on the "horse" again and you and I can do this together. I am doing it day by day, slower this time so that I am able to keep it off. Please, please don't give up. You are giving me hope! XO XO
